today is the
1st Jan 2007... the 1st day of a
new year... now i'm here to update my blog with my taiwan trip... actually my old laptop is spoilt, but my dad jus bought a new 1, which is wat i am using now...
17th Dec 2006woke up @ 10+... left the house @ 11+.. met my cousins @ the airport... had lunch with them... n my clumsy bro spilt miso soup on my cousin's pants... so it became
"MISO PANTS"...
=) boarded the plane @ 2.30... reached
taipei international airport @ 8.30pm.. collected our luggages, den boarded the coach n headed straight for out hotel,
riverview hotel... onced i unlocked the room door, i turned on the television... n i saw
hua yang shao nian shao nu... but i couldn't watch it because we were all going to
xi men ding to shop... haha... the weather was cool... temperature was between
10-12 degree celsius...
COOL!!!! went shopping... saw a ring, liked it very very much... but didn't buy it... sigh...
regretting it now...
xi men ding is cool!!! i wanna stay there!!! left
xi men ding @ 11.30pm...
walked back to the hotel... took a bath, slept after watching some shows.... =D
18th Dec 2006woke up @ 6am... took a bath and left the hotel room with our luggages... went downstairs for breakfast... after breakfast, we left the hotel @ 8am... took the coach to a place... it is some navy place...
the guards have to stand on a platform for an hour without moving, or else they would have to be punished... after that, we went sight seeing, see the chinese ancient buildings... went to take a look at the majestic hotel, which was
burnt down once before,
loosing more than a million dollars worth of antiques... wind was chilling... went for lunch @ a restaurant... they served all the taiwan delicacies... it was really yummy... the meat ball is 1/2 the size of my fist... really not kidding... =D we went to the earthquake exhibnition centre... it was really cool... because the place has not been re-built yet.... the running track which has gone through the earthquake, was left the same... one side of the track is now higher then the other cos of the plates that collide together... learnt a lot there... after lunch, we hopped onto the coach again and headed for tai zhong... before going to the hotel, we went to a night market for dinner... the food there was shoik, but was too oily... temperature as usual, between 10-12 degree celsius... after dinner, we took the coach to the hotel, hotel royal... we checked in to our rooms...the room was so dark, even when all the lights are being turned on... the toilet is also super huge... but the only light source is coming from the sink... it carn even light up the whole toilet... n the bath tub is so high n it looks like a coffin to me... anyway, i still used the toilet, bathed n got to sleep!!! =D19th Dec 2006woke up @ 6am again... bathed... watched yu le bai fen bai in the room for a while... luo zhi xiang is so shuai!!! plus xiao gui is so cute... haha... left the hotel room @ 6.45am... ate breakfast downstairs... the cafe is so quiet... there aren't any other tourists there exceopt for our tour group... so eerie... =D anyway, i left that eerie place... took the coach n left for gao xiong... haha...the weather there was warmer, but it was still cold!!! haha... had lunch... after lunch, we went to taiwan's most famous temple... the temple is so big... the tour guide gave us a very detailed description of the ornaments in the temple... after going to the temple, we went sight seeing again n went to pluck strawberries... cos there was extra time... the srawberries were really big and red plus sweet!!! in the evening, we went to the night market again for dinner... checked into the hotel,
citizen hotel.. this hotel is much better... after putting our luggagaes in the room, we left the hotel n went out to walk.. the weather was
freezing!!! some more i was
wearing slippers!!! =P went to look at the fruits they were selling!!! the fruits there are all
100% sweet!!! delicious... =D after walking out, we went back to the hotel.. bathed, changed and slept... =D
20th Dec 2006woke up 6am... watched luo zhi xiang n xiao gui on yu le bai fen bai before bathing... left the hotel room @ 7am, after watching yu le bai fen bai... it was dan fei bi jiao hong!!! haha... so funny!!! ate breakfast downstairs... left the hotel @ 8 am... we left for the hills... went to this exhibition centre... was quite boring there though... took the bus the whole day, all the way to hua lian.. the journey up was uncomfortable, cos the road there was winding... had dinner at some run down place... foos sucked big time!!! so once we reached the hotel, i stayed in the hotel room alone while my parents n my bro went out to buy cup noodles... haha... i stayed in the hotel to watch tv... haha... had a good night's sleep!!! haha... =P
21 Dec 2006woke up @ 6am... bathed, watched luo zhi xiang again and left the hotel room... went downstairs for breakfast... left for yi lan... whole day's jpurney again... on the way out of hua lian, the tour guide brought us to but custard apples and soursops... they were so super sweet... so my dad bought 1 carton of soursops back... a whole day's journey again... bumpy ride again... reached shangila resort... had dinner there and it was freezing cold... temperature was below 10 degree celsius... haha... stayed there the whole night... played some stupid traditional games there... haha... watched tv and slept...
22 Dec 2006woke up early also... left the hotel room @ 7 after yu le bai fen bai.... air outside was so fresh!!! unfrogettable!!! not at all polluted!!! ate breakfast den went to their park to walk... haha... played in the playground n plucked guavas from the trees on a steep slope... played bubbles, and saw a very
CHEEKY PIG!!! the pig would snort very loudly when any female walks past... haha... climbed down the mountain to move to our next destination... we went to jiu fen... it's a food paradise there.... almost every stall is selling food... haha... many stalls were selling smelly tou fu.... the stench is so strong.. almost took my life from miles away!!! =D bought the famous jelly from there... haha... after jiu fen, we went to a museum in taipei... after the museum, we went to a feng shui shop & taipei 101... it is where all the expensive boutiques are... haha... no $$$.. only can see... haha.. after that we went to shi lin night market... bought a pair of nike shoes for myself n a watch... couldn't buy the clothes there... cos i'll die of heat stroke in singapore!!! haha... =P reached the hotel at 12.30am.... packed the luggage... bathed... watched yu le bai fen bai repeat... den fell asleep... haha...

3 Dec 2006woke up at 5.30am... left the hotel @ 6am... had sandwich on board the bus... 1 hr bus journey to the airport... ate a bowl of bi hoon soup, compliments by the tour guide... checked in at the airport... was almost late... the whole plane of pple was waiting for us... haha... had a nice trip... boarded the plane @ 9.30am... watched monster house on board the plane.... touched down 2 1.30pm...
had a nice trip!!! i wanna got there again!!! weather is shoik!!! haha... sorry for updating so late... haha... my old comp is down!!! =D
